Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing sales in the Southern Ontario (Primarily GTA) region.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and grow relationships with current and future clients
• Prospect for new accounts and generate new leads and new sales
• Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, and industry trends
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives

Sales Objectives:
• Sales Revenue Quotas
• Profit Margin Quotas
• Lead Quotas
• Others as required for the position

Senior Engineer– BAS and Mechanical (HVAC)
The Senior Engineer is responsible for the consulting and engineering aspects of our business and ensuring that all projects are executed within the budgets which he or she helps develop.

This is a position with a high level of responsibility that requires someone with extensive industry experience, including people management and design experience. In addition, a fundamental knowledge of financial analysis theory is advantageous.

Responsibilities:
• Managing projects from startup through to closing
• Technical resource for sales team and assist sales staff to prepare project cost estimates
• Audit existing building automation, mechanical, and electrical distribution and metering systems, and building operating methodologies
• Develop solutions to improve overall facility operation
• Expert use of simulation software for solutions development where needed
• Effectively analyze and assess the financial impacts of recommended solutions
• Develop and perform effective presentations to customers with respect to solutions and economic impacts
• Develop RFP documentation and analyze response submittals
• Manage and commission implementation of solutions
• Manage technical staff and delegate tasks as appropriate
Requirements:
• Bachelors of engineering - Professional engineer licensed to practice in Ontario, LEEDS accreditation is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal command of the English language
• eight to twelve years minimum experience designing and engineering mechanical (HVAC) and building automation systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings
• At minimum the last 5 years practicing in the Greater Toronto Area, and at least the final 2 years in a lead or management role
• Building electrical systems experience is a definite asset
• Thorough understanding of BAS sensing and device components; communication protocols (i.e. BACnet and Lonworks); PID; System programming and energy management strategies; Computer and networking technology; HVAC systems and components; VFD’s; and building electrical systems, metering, and billing
• Fundamental understanding of financial analysis theories
• Expert level knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and ASHRAE standards required
• Familiar with Canadian construction methods and practices
• Efficient and effective troubleshooting ability – Mechanical and Controls
• Proficiency with MS-Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, AutoCad, Visio
• A car and valid Ontario drivers license

BAS and Commissioning Technologist
The BAS and Commissioning Technologist works primarily in the field, liaising with the customer on a daily basis, and is responsible for troubleshooting building systems from a controls perspective; commissioning various building systems, and performing systems optimization services.

This position requires an individual with extensive industry experience, and a broad and thorough level of experience with a variety of building systems. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of building controls and mechanical systems, a working knowledge of building electrical systems, experience servicing building automation system, and commissioning experience. This person is savvy with technology.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot building systems issues from a controls perspective
• Colaborate with engineering staff to provide solutions
• Commission a variety of systems including: BAS, Mechanical, Electrical
• Field technical resource for engineering staff
• Systems optimization service
Requirements:
• Bondable
• College diploma in a related discipline - CET designation is an Asset
• Minimum seven years experience programming, troubleshooting, and servicing building automation systems in a lead role
• Commissioning experience is an asset
• Thorough understanding of building mechanical systems
• Working knowlege of building electrical systems
• BES certification is an asset
• Experience with LEED projects or LEED certified is a definite asset
• Strong written and verbal command of the English language
• Proficiency with MS-Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, AutoCad, Visio
• A car and valid Ontario drivers license
